Susan D’Arcy Photography is closed for one week from today the 9th of April until Monday the 16th of April. I am off for a little holiday with the kids and am looking forward to it (well as much as you can look forward to being in a house with lots of noisy excited children!!) I will have no access to email in this time at all.

and lastly I can not post today without adding a photograph of my mum.

This first image is one of my favourites. I’m not sure exactly old she is here but I think she looks gorgeous

and this image here with my son Liam. This has a lot sentimental value and normally I would not share this so publicly but today I feel like doing so. This was taken just after my mum was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, she passed away just 5 short weeks later on the 1st of August 2004, this was one of the last photos I took of her.

Today would have been her 59th birthday.

Happy heavenly birthday Mum. Miss you always and forever.
