I’m feeling all patriotic so have decided on a once in a lifetime, once off, one and only ( you get it, I know )

AUSTRALIA DAY SUPER SPECIAL!!!

So for Australia Day I will be offering FREE* sessions. conditions apply

So all you need to do is EMAIL me through my contacts page on my website HERE

*CONDITIONS:

- offer for NEW clients only.

- by booking you commit to a $300 minimum spend on products/prints.

- bookings are to be held between the dates of February 1st 2009 and August 31st 2009.

- emails must be recieved ON Australia Day – no early or late emails accepted.

- LIMIT/CAPPED of a total of 10 sessions only. (so be quick!)

- available for Melbourne Metro only (if unsure ask) or a travel fee may occur.

- please note emails and any phone calls made on Australia Day will not reponded to until the following day due to it being a public holiday.

2008 baby of the year – competition

This week I have gotten back in to the swing of thing. The few weeks break from work was really great and I’ve spent time relaxing with the family and spring cleaning the house.

2008 was such a great year. I met many new clients and was revisited by many old ones. To celebrate the wonderful year that was I thought what better way than to start the new year off with a fun little competition and show and celebrate more of last years clients.

I have chosen 27 ‘babies’ for the ‘Baby of 2008′ competition. I do apologise for all those clients who I havent included in this, I had to stop at 27 and keep it to just the under one year olds or we’d have an insane number of images here!

So here is how it works.

Below are the images – all images are numbered ON the image for easy reference.

To vote you need to go to my website HERE ( or if it doesnt work then www.susandarcy.com.au )and go to the ‘contact me’ page within the website.

Send your vote through the contacts page with ‘Baby# insert number here‘ in the subject title.

Make sure to include your email address as only 1 vote per person/ email address permitted.

How NOT to dress for a photo session….

Today I had a session booked for St kilda Pier…. now no no thats no a client above, the session was post poned. I was so looking forward to an evening in St Kilda though that I decided to head down with the family for a walk on the pier then a relaxed dinner down Acland St.

The above is a great example of what NOT to wear to your photo session. I still love it as its MY family and they don’t get photographed enough these days. My eldest is off at a girl friends for a few nights so it was just the younger 2 and my wonderful husband.

During january I am also doing a personal project. I often forget to photograph my family or need to hang the camera up once home for a break. So for every day in january I am documenting our lives and am making a book of it all in the end. The above is a page of the book.
