Mothers Day Special – ACOCP

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

On Sunday April 5th and Wednesday April 8th I am offering ‘mini’ sessions to help raise funds for the ACOCP.

The ACOCP – Australian Community of Child Photographers – www.acocp.org.au are a wonderful organisation I belong to and assist with.

From the site:

The Australian Community Of Child Photographers (formerly The Australian Charity of Child Photographers) is a volunteer organisation of child photographers from all over Australia who have come together to form an organisation dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families that have experienced stillbirths, premature and ill infants and children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of their local hospitals, as well as children with serious and terminal illnesses.

So here’s the go:

WHAT DOES A MINI SESSION ENTAIL: you will get a ‘mini’ session with myself. A mini session lasts between 15-20 minutes. All sessions will be at my new studio location, all will be outdoor/location sessions. All will involve a little walking (we’ll be doing a location shoot round the park, laneways and closest streets to the studio)

WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED: you will need to pay the $50 session fee. This is paid directly to the ACOCP through paypal (credit card) which all details will given to you upon booking. A week or two after the session you will be able to order your images. All products will be at my new studio pricing and special  packages will be available. Please phone for more details 0408 806 221

WHO CAN BE PHOTOGRAPHED DURING MINI SESSIONS: these mini sessions are available for children through adults from 6 MONTHS of age through to 99 YEARS or more. These mini sessions are not suitable for newborns or for maternity/pregnancy photography (unless it’s a pregnant mum ‘with’ her children). There are to be no more than 3 people included in each session and all must be of the same immediate family. If you have a larger family or would like more children photographed you are able to book 2 time slots one after the other at $50 per time slot.

WHY A MINI SESSION: mini sessions are great! They are perfect for past clients to do a ‘top up’ session and get some recent images of their children without the fuss of a full session. They are perfect for NEW clients to ‘try’ the service out and see if they’d like a full session at a later date. They are perfect for getting images of the children or yourself for mothers day gifts. They are short and fast and fun. Best of all you are helping support a wonderful community of volunteers.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SESSION: approx 1-2 weeks after the session you will receive a link to an online gallery. You will then have the option of ordering within 48 hours or making an appointment to come into the studio to view my products and do your order at the studio.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO NOW: email me or phone to secure your session time. I wil provide you with a link to the acocp for payment of your session (all session fees go direct to the acocp in full) and more details about what will happen on the day.

these sessions will book out fast so email me or phone 0408 806 221 NOW to secure your place!

I’ve been terribly slack at posting recent sessions on the blog. I’ve been a bit busy…. and soon you’ll know what’s been occupying me , other than sessions of course.

Below is the family of David Strunz, from Perfect Pump Health and Fitness.

David is a Personal Trainer/ Fitness Specialist based in Wheelers Hill, in Melbournes Sth East. I can personally recommend his services if you are wanting to improve your fitness or lose weight and challenge yourself. I personally saw and used Dave for about 6 months last year (in the lead up to my triathlon) doing ‘Bootcamp’ classes through local schools and also doing 1 on 1 sessions and small group sessions. When I was seeing Dave regularly I felt fitter and stronger than I had in a long time, basically I felt great! I intend to get back to seeing Dave later this year after I have my hip fixed from my injury last year (nothing to do with Dave!!) and look forward to getting fit again!
