But I dont want my photo taken! – Child photography challenges
May 2nd, 2009 by susan
yes, it happens, sometimes I meet with a client and alas the child simply does NOT want their photo taken! So what do we do? Do we fight them? threaten? yell and scream? (ok so we might want to do that!) but no honestly its best to ignore it… not to force the issue and let the child have a bit of breathing space.
This mini session was one such occasion. This lad didnt even want to get out the car, not mention meet me! and the last thing he wanted was me having the camera anywhere near him. this was a challenge for sure as it was a mini session so we only had 15-20 minutes before the next client was due to start.
In the end he came around and decided I wasn’t so evil and scary after all! I loved the challenge and wasn’t fussed, honestly its all part of the job
at the start… the frown of ‘you caught me and I am NOT happy about it’
just 10 minutes later
His sister on the other hand was happy from start to finish.

Wadi, runs Hughesdale pizza and pasta and does a wonderful job of making the MOST delicous pizzas around! Having him across the road is incredibly bad for my wasit line but great for my taste buds! Go in and order one, you will not regret it!

Well done Susan, you knew he’d come around. What a difference a few minutes of patience made, he’s adorable and little sis is a star too.
hahahaha so cute, you sure managed to get some really great ones of him……you would never know he was against it all by the shot of him laying down, he looks quite happy and ready to model.
