This week I have gotten back in to the swing of thing. The few weeks break from work was really great and I’ve spent time relaxing with the family and spring cleaning the house.
2008 was such a great year. I met many new clients and was revisited by many old ones. To celebrate the wonderful year that was I thought what better way than to start the new year off with a fun little competition and show and celebrate more of last years clients.
I have chosen 27 ‘babies’ for the ‘Baby of 2008′ competition. I do apologise for all those clients who I havent included in this, I had to stop at 27 and keep it to just the under one year olds or we’d have an insane number of images here!
So here is how it works.
Below are the images – all images are numbered ON the image for easy reference.
To vote you need to go to my website HERE ( or if it doesnt work then www.susandarcy.com.au )and go to the ‘contact me’ page within the website.
Send your vote through the contacts page with ‘Baby# insert number here‘ in the subject title.
Make sure to include your email address as only 1 vote per person/ email address permitted.
(those who have voted through the ‘comments’ section below have had their votes counted)
Email this blog link to ALL your family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else you want and get them to vote for you so you can win! for ease the direct link to this post is http://susandarcy.com.au/myblog/2009/01/12/2008-baby-of-the-year-competition/
So what do you win?
The winning baby of 2008 will receive a 12×18 inch CANVAS of their winning image – valued at $255.
UPDATED!!
2nd prize will be a 8×12 inch – BLOCK mounted on WOOD ready to hang
3rd prize will be a 5×7.5 inch – BLOCK mounted on FOAM ready to hang/display

Meet the gorgeous wee Robbie.
Robbie was born at just 33 weeks gestation on the 6/1/07 at a mere 1334g. Both himself and his gorgeous mother Karin, had a bit of a hairy time, but both have come out the other side and Robbie is now growng more and more each day, weighing a bit over 5 pounds at our photo session at 7 weeks old, or his corrective birth age.
It was so lovely to meet all the family .
This photo was especially sweet. this is dads wedding ring. At birth, Robert was so small the ring fit as a bracelet. You can see that while he is still little he has grown so much also!

don’t forget to email through your nomination for the celebration of life project.
