I’ve had the pleasure recently of photographing more and more couples. Sometimes couples will choose to get their portraits done because they are newly engaged and wish to capture it, others just want to have nice images of themselves together to celebrate their relationship.

Meet one recently engaged couple.

I wanted to share some images from a newborn session, this was held at the studio, shot with natural light and in the surrounds of the studio.

Will be back to update soon and a very exciting competition is coming so come back and visit the blog soon!

A lot of people think I just photograph babies and little children. I photograph people of all ages!

Individual portrait sessions or couples session or even a session with a friend are loads of fun. Plus I think its fantastic people are getting them done. We ALL deserve a nice portrait of ourselves no matter what our age!

Lovely Eva contacted me to update her portraits for her parents. Her family all lives overseas in Germany so this was a lovely gift from Eva to them.

The first thing she told me when she contacted me to book in was ‘I don’t really like my photo being taken’ No problem, I said, neither do I! Its true I am not that comfortable on the other side of the camera, BUT I do force myself there often so that I too am a part of my families history and so my children will grow and remember what their mum looked like and well because it is a nice feeling when you get a nice portrait of yourself.

When Eva came back to view and select her images it was such a nice feeling to hear her say ‘hey I look really good in that one!’ (she looked good in all of them by the way!)
